Seymour AV has released new batch of Ice Block audio power Amplifiers. These ICE power amplifiers has features Bang & Olufsen’s patented analog ICEpower amplification to deliver higher audio output power effectiveness, advanced audio elements, as well as unique finishing at affordable price points.

With Bang & Olufsen’s ICEpower technology,  Seymour AV ICE Block amplifier will gets the efficiency of a Class D, but with a low distortion modulation and improved MOSFET output stage.  With this technology you get world class sonic performance with an efficiency of operation that enables you to enjoy the dynamic benefits of much higher output power capabilities.

The new batch of ICE block amplifiers consist three model : ICE power based 200w, 500w, and 1000w.  Each ICE block amplifiers support switchable balanced and unbalanced inputs to eliminates the need for an input transformer to muddy the sound via insulated 5-way binding posts.

Meanwhile, ICEpower technology also uses pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) with a patented Multi-Variable Enhanced Cascade Control chip instead of the 1GHz+ sawtooth signal that common pulse width modulated (PWM) Class-D designs use.  This dramatically reduces the switching frequencies used and resulting EMI and low pass filter distortion.

Other Upgraded components will be solid silver input wire, WBT connectors, triple shielded power cords with integrated ferrite RF filters, and Vibrapod feet. Plus more, An important design goal was to require indirect power and clipping illumination so that there would be no direct LED lighting in dark rooms. The Top plate finish options include premium brushed stainless steel with 386 Nanotech sealing, or a black pearl blue painted finish.

The Ice Block amplifiers also come with included Zobel filters to power through any impedance curvature. The amps are fully protected from thermal, high frequency, over existing sentinel and a lot more. They are also supplied along with a 10 year warranty.
